How To Make Oobleck!

Oobleck is a mixture of cornstarch and water based on how much pressure is applied to it.
When the mixture is handled, it is formed into a ball but when pressure is released it flows into a liquid,
like texture. This suspension only contains two ingredients. Here is the method on how to create it.

Method:

What we need:

-½ cup of Cornstarch

-1 cup of water

-Bowl

-Measuring cups,

-Mixing tools

-Newspaper to keep area tidy

-Food Colouring (Optional)

What to do:

1. Place cornstarch into the container
2. Then add  water with the cornstarch
3. If necessary and  more water or cornstarch until you gets a mixture that ‘tears’ when you quickly scrape your finger through it and then ‘melts’ back together again.
4. Knead it and mix it with your fingers and see what happens

Writing a Narrative - Made a copy Title - Hansel and Gretel Witch Character Hansel and Gretel Forest Moon Children Orientation - Once, so long ago there was a family of four. They lived right next to the forest of witches where they liked to explore. Hansel and Gretel's father took them and left them in the middle of forest. Shortly after their parents were killed by all the villagers because they had thought that their mum was a witch. Complication - There was a witch that had lived in a candy house. The candy house had rainbow cake on the door and icy in the flower which had caught Hansel and Gretel eye. The house was left open for them to enter like a trap, then all of a sudden the witch closed the door. Gretel was thrown in the a stick cage and the witch had made Hansel it's servant. Resolution - They had to react quickly and do team work before the witch will cook them both. The witch had cooked and poison candy for Gretel to eat and then Hansel had tripped on a nail and picked up the nail and unlocked her handcuff and the stick cage. Hansel and Gretel grabbed weapons and started striking the witch in the back and then the witch's head was cut off and throw it into the oven. Ending - They were the first people to ever kill a witch. They hunted witch to save villager and children on the road. They had built weapons to destroy and kill them and is received money, food, water and shelter. Hansel and Gretel was receiving fame for being the only witch hunters. They are the world's only hope. I am a Year 8 student in Saint Patrick's School, next year I am going to evolve and step up on becoming a year 9 student. I am a road petrol for Saint Patrick's School and it is my responsibility to keep our school children's safe crossing the road. Techicraft

I was feeling cold, it almost felt like 5 degrees in my bed room. I was woken up by the temperature freezing my body through the blanket.

Today was the first day at tech for 2018 and the first time for the year 7's for tech they looked really excited.

I got up and looked at the time then ran like a flash and got to school and I thought that the bus had left so I asked my other friends and they said "it was late" which was great because it meant that  I was not!

We jumped onto the bus and then traveled in the morning traffic it to Pakuranga Intermediate School. Once we got out we started walking to our classes with our new room 7 teacher Mr Bell.

The year 8 students, including me, went to the cooking class which happens to be  my favourite subject there. The year 7's started at the science where from experience, I knew that they would do lots of amazing experiments.

Our cooking teacher was Ms Plows.  The room seemed quite empty as we only had 11 year 8 students altogether.. Once was settled  in, our first lesson began with an explanation about the rules for cooking.
